First White Christmas

I’m 45 years old and I have never experienced a white Christmas…
that is until this year!

While it didn’t actually snow on Christmas day, it did snow Christmas Eve, and we did have snow on the ground on Christmas morning.

And baby, in my book that’s a white Christmas!

I got some pretty impressive pictures on both Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

See what you think.

So was my Christmas White?

You be the judge!

Snowfall that accumulates anytime between dawn on the 24th and dawn on the 25th that is still there at midmorning or later on the 25th qualifies as an official White Christmas in my book. There are other more relaxed definitions that just have to have an inch or more of snow on the ground on the 25th. By either definition I've still been under or at most around 50% for my lifetime.

Oh, and I live in a much more likely place for White Christmases (central Connecticut) than any part of Texas!

Living in Texas my whole life, I had no idea there were White Christmas rules or guidelines. However, since the snow fell mostly on the 24th, but also a little after midnight on the 25th, AND it is the 28th and some of the snow is still in the yard, I guess I can say without a doubt that I had my first White Christmas.

Assuming Casey from central Connecticut knows what he's talking about.

As for me...I like the way Casey thinks!

By the way, if anyone knows what I've done (by accident) on the last picture that makes it get large when you click on it, please let me know. I don't know what I did different with that picture, but I'd like them all to do that.

Thanks,
Hugh
